#11 Genentech Tour
The USF Net Impact Chapter organized a tour to Genentech, a biotech research company which develops medicines for serious and life-threatening diseases which was named a couple of days ago as the #2 company to work for, by Fortune Magazine. You will hear from Chris Dempsey, a current USF MBA giving a quick overview of the company and answering to some questions from the audience. In the end you will listen to Roberto Piccioni from the Environment, Health, and Safety Department (EHS) talking about some of the sustainability efforts happening at Genentech.

Tiago,
I can’t thank you enough for this podcast series. Every now and again I find someone that “gets it” and that’s what I found here. Your format and style are perfect. 12-19 minutes of fat free information that introduces neat ideas and concepts without creating an air of arrogance. This Genentech episode is one of my favorites because it has an example of classroom to workplace applications.
I think this podcast is the strongest recruiting material for someone considering an MBA that USF has, and I would rate it above the HBR Ideacast because your podcast has a lot more spontaneity
Hey Rob,
I really appreciate your comments! Sometimes when I’m working really hard on an episode trying to cut it down from 1 hour length to the best 20 minutes and I feel really tired, I always wonder if anybody is listening or cares…
Then I get this type of feedback and I feel again very energized again. For that I thank you!
All the best, Tiago
