Project Red was founded by Bono from the U2 and Bobby Shriver as a partnership between the Global Aids Fund and some big companies like Motorola, Apple, Gap and American Express. In the last 9 months Project Red already generated 20 million dollars for the fight against Aids in Africa. This amount is 5 times more than what the Global Fund raised from the private sector to date!
