Kevin Dempsey PictureThis is a presentation by Kevin Dempsey, the executive vice-president at Summa Financial Group. Kevin is a Merger and Aquisitions (M&A) expert who helps small private companies find buyers and advises them on the deals. He came to USF at the invitation of the Entrepreneurship Club and talked about some of the challenges owners face in making sure that the buyer will take care of the business and their employees.

    Hello, I’m doing a BSc. (Economics & Finance) in UCD in Dublin, Ireland. Our Careers Fair is today and I’ve been between minds about what path I’ll take afterwards. I have to say though what I’ve researched regarding M&A has intrigued me but along with the others who have contacted you, I too would love to be in a position of being better equiped with knowledge before deciding which path to take! Could you shed any light on this?
