HKUST IBPCAs the only University Business Plan Competition in China open to complete graduate teams from other universities, the HKUST Competition provides a unique entrepreneurial opportunity for all graduate students. Total awards for the competition was approximately $25,000; however, the real prize is the chance for graduate students to offer their business proposals before an international panel of investors and executives in the financial hub of Asia.

#27 AT&T Park Tour

Giants PictureA group of MBA students went on a tour of the AT&T baseball park in San Francisco. After the tour Chuck Tucker, the director of sales for the Giants baseball team, talked about some of the marketing challenges he faces. For example, how to sell the less popular seats and how to keep the park full in the future after the Giant’s superstar, Barry Bonds, retires in 2008.
